We spent 5 weeks in Fort Worth finishing my newest piece, "Parking in Color." We worked 12-16 hour days in high wind, heavy rain and hot sun. It was fantastic! Check out pictures of the installation process and the final piece below and lt me know what you think!

Believing that there was more to creating a dynamic urban environment than erecting buildings, I developed my own multi-media studio, PhenomenArts, Inc. in 1980. I have created numerous permanent interactive sound/light installations, attempting, on the one hand, to make architecture more "spontaneous" (Harmonic Runway, Miami Airport; REACH:NY, 34th St. subway, New York) and, on the other hand, to make music more physical (HeartBeat:mb with S. Rudner, M. Baryshnikov).
I have been been awarded "Sound Designer of the Year", by LDI/Theater Arts Magazine for my public sound environments and the Edison Award from General Electric for innovation in design. My work has been profiled on CBS Sunday Morning, HGTV, Architectural Record, The New York Times and in a 30-minute award-winning documentary titled "Drum of Time."
